Data Centre

We are currently delivering a Data Centre scheme in Buckinghamshire, acting as principal contractor for a new client under a JCT design and build contract

The first phase of the development will see us bring data hall 1 into use by installing new major plant to serve the development. Site clearance and demolition of various areas have taken place whilst we have installed new OFCI transformers and chillers to the new external areas prepared by our team.

Due to the large nature of the chilled water plant, we have been prefabricating stainless steel pipework off site to aid with the installation process on site. This Is currently working extremely well and aiding us to achieve the stringent programme requirements the client has put in place to meet their RFS date.

Additionally, the cable sizes are significant and as such we have made a detailed plan around how these can be distributed and contained throughout the site, with several out of hours shutdowns planned to ensure that the commercial area in which the client currently resides is not without power at any point.

Along with these critical cooling and power works we are also delivering all builders works, data, fire alarm, security, gas suppression, commissioning and generator installations.
